LIMFA

“In trees, sap flows, up and down, from the roots to the branches in a continuous exchange, of energies and substances, invisible to our eyes. With our installation we want to show this special bond through eight light columns that connect the ground to the main branches of the tree”.

Kaneko Studio makes its first appearance along the “Via del Colore” bringing to Magenta LIMFA, first exhibited in 2021 at the Light Move Festival in Lodz (Poland) and here reinterpreted in a sitespecific installation that interacrs with Villa Naj Oleari and its beautiful park.
The experiment with RGB lights scientifically illustrated by the educational installation “Il Colore Immaginario” (Imaginary Colour) in the courtyard of the City Hall in Piazza Formenti is re-proposed here in a highly evocative way.
Visitors are invited to walk freely through the installation and change the colours through a special device, so that they can each have a unique experience.
